How to install joomla in softaculous ?
- Log into your cPanel.
- Go to the softaculous app installer.
- Click on the Softaculous icon.
- Click on the Install link on the joomla install section.
- Fill in the Joomla set up information. The following is the necessary information you need to fill in.
- Software Setup
- Choose the version you want to install -- Please select the version to install.
- Choose Protocol -- If your site has SSL, then please choose the HTTPS protocol.
- Choose Domain -- Please choose the domain to install the software.
- In Directory -- The directory is relative to your domain and should not exist. e.g. To install at http://mydomain/dir/ just type dir. To install only in http://mydomain/dir/leave this empty.
- Site Settings
- Site Name -- Enter the site name
- Site Description -- Enter the site name with discription
- Database Settings
- Import Sample Data -- Select the data
- Admin Account
- Admin Username-- Enter a username for your WordPress Dashboard login.
- Admin Password-- Enter whatever password you want for the Dashboard Login.
- Real Name -- Enter the Administrator name
- Admin Email-- Enter a valid email here. The system will place an invalid email here. you will need a valid one.
- Choose Language
- Select Language-- Please select the language
- Advanced Options
- Database Name-- Enter the name of the database to be created for the installation.
- Table Prefix-- Enter the table prefix name
- Disable Update Notifications-- Click on the check box for disable update notification
- Automated backups-- Select the auto backup option
- Backup Rotation-- Select the backup rotation
- Email installation details to -- Enter the installation mail id
- Install-- Click on the install button
