Plesk License Editions & Pricing Guide

Plesk pricing in India ranges from ₹807.50 to ₹3,489.17 per month on an annual plan at ZNetLive, as of October 2026. Web Admin starts at ₹9,690 per year before GST, while its monthly billing option costs ₹1,270 per month.

We offer Plesk licences for businesses, agencies and hosting providers, with Web Admin, Web Pro and Web Host editions to suit different domain counts and management requirements.

In this guide, we compare the three Plesk editions and explain the difference between VPS and dedicated licences. We’ll also show how Plesk counts domains and list the costs to check before you buy them.

How Much Does a Plesk License Cost in India?

Your Plesk license price in India depends on two main choices: the edition you need and the server environment where you will install it. The billing term and additional products also affect your final quote.

Use the table below to compare the configurations available through ZNetLive.

Plesk Edition  Server Type  Monthly Billing  Annual Plan: Monthly Equivalent  Annual Payment
Web Admin  VPS  ₹1,270  ₹807.50  ₹9,690
Web Admin  Dedicated  ₹1,270  ₹807.50  ₹9,690
Web Pro  VPS  ₹2,210  ₹1,475  ₹17,700
Web Pro  Dedicated  ₹2,210  ₹1,475  ₹17,700
Web Host  VPS  ₹4,090  ₹3,008.33 + Add Category ₹36,100
Web Host  Dedicated  ₹5,490  ₹3,489.17  ₹41,870

Prices verified as of October 2026 and exclude 18% GST. Annual plans require the full annual payment upfront. Monthly equivalents are provided for comparison and do not represent monthly instalments. Prices and offers may change.

Plesk list prices rise on 1 January 2027. The 2027 customer licensing guide lists Web Admin at US$18.99 per month, up from the current US$16.99 list price. Ask us whether current INR prices apply to your renewal.

For a useful comparison, request the first purchase price and renewal price together. A promotional price alone does not tell you what the license will cost over your planned subscription period.

For multiple servers, share the edition and server type required for each installation. We can then provide a quote that reflects the full requirement.

Which Plesk Edition Should I Buy: Web Admin, Web Pro or Web Host?

Web Admin suits straightforward website administration; Web Pro suits developers and agencies, and Web Host suits hosting businesses that need reseller management or a larger domain allowance.

As of October 2026, these are the main differences to consider.

Requirement  Web Admin  Web Pro  Web Host
Domain allowance  Up to 10  Up to 30  Unlimited
WordPress management  WP Toolkit SE, with limited features  Full WP Toolkit  Full WP Toolkit
Developer pack  Not included  Included  Included
Subscription management  Not included  Included  Included
Account management  Not included  Included  Included
Reseller management  Not included  Not included  Included
Suggested use  Your own business websites  Development and agency projects  Hosting and reseller services

Plesk’s official edition comparison confirms these domain allowances. These are license limits for each server, rather than a shared allowance across your entire infrastructure.

Plesk’s edition guidance documents these differences. The recommendations below apply those distinctions to common buying situations.

When Is Web Admin the Right Choice?

Web Admin is worth considering when you manage your own websites and need a limited domain allowance.

For example, a business with a main website and a few separate brand websites may find it sufficient. Before you decide, check whether WP Toolkit SE covers your WordPress workflow.

A small domain count does not automatically make Web Admin the best fit. Your required tools matter too.

When Should You Choose Web Pro?

Web Pro is a practical option when your work includes client websites, development projects or more extensive WordPress management.

An agency with several WordPress projects may prefer Web Pro even before it approaches the domain limit. The decision should reflect the work your team performs, rather than the number of sites alone.

For a Plesk Web Pro vs Web Host comparison, ask whether you need reseller management and whether your planned portfolio fits within Web Pro’s allowance.

When Does Web Host Make Sense?

Web Host is the edition to evaluate when you run a hosting business, need reseller management or expect to exceed Web Pro’s domain allowance.

“Unlimited domains” refers to the Plesk license allowance. It does not provide unlimited CPU, memory, storage or bandwidth. Your server still needs enough capacity for the websites and applications it supports.

Treat the license choice and server sizing as separate decisions.

What Is the Difference Between a Plesk VPS License and a Dedicated License?

The difference is the permitted server environment. A Plesk VPS license works on a supported virtual server, while a Plesk dedicated server license can work on a physical dedicated server or a virtual server.

For the same edition, Plesk states that the included features do not differ between these license types. Its VPS and dedicated licensing explanation confirms this distinction as of October 2026.

Your installation environment  Licence to evaluate
Supported virtual server  VPS license
Physical dedicated server  Dedicated license
Server environment not yet confirmed  Contact us so we can confirm the appropriate license

A dedicated licence does not automatically give you a higher edition. For example, Web Admin remains Web Admin whether you buy it for a virtual or physical server.

Before you order, confirm the environment where Plesk will actually run. This is particularly useful when another provider manages your infrastructure.

How Does Plesk Count Domains Against Your Licence?

Plesk counts domains added to the panel, including domains that are suspended, disabled, configured for forwarding or set up without hosting. A domain can therefore use your allowance even when it does not serve an active website.

As of October 2026, Plesk’s domain counting rules distinguish domains from correctly created subdomains and aliases.

Item in Plesk  Counts towards the domain limit?
Active domain  Yes
Suspended or disabled domain  Yes
Forwarding domain  Yes
Domain without hosting  Yes
Subdomain created through “Add Subdomain”  No
Alias created through “Add Domain Alias”  No

A subdomain created through Add Domain counts as a domain.

Before you select an edition, review your existing configuration. An inventory of live websites alone may understate the allowance you need.

What Should You Include Your Plesk Budget?

Your budget should cover the license and the services needed to operate your websites. Plesk’s licensing and purchase FAQs explain that licenses are sold per server and hosting infrastructure is separate.

Use the following checklist to make supplier quotes easier to compare.

Cost item  What to check
Base license  Edition, server type and number of licenses
Billing term  Monthly billing or annual payment
Renewal  Renewal amount and any promotional conditions
Extensions  Required products and their separate charges
Infrastructure  Server, storage, bandwidth and backup costs
Support  Included assistance and chargeable work
Tax  Amount before GST and final invoice total

Also check your operating system’s support status. As of October 2026, our Plesk offering includes a notice that Extended Lifecycle Support charges may apply to end of life operating systems. Ask us to confirm whether this affects your installation.

A useful comparison includes the total payable today, the renewal commitment and any recurring extras. This helps you avoid choosing a plan based on an incomplete monthly figure.

How Can You Select the Right Plesk Configuration?

Start with your server environment, then match the edition to your domain inventory and operating requirements.

Follow these steps before requesting a quote:

  1. Confirm your server type: establish whether Plesk will run on a supported virtual server or a physical dedicated server.
  2. Count your domains: include forwarding, suspended and other domains that count towards the allowance.
  3. List required tools: identify your WordPress management and reseller requirements.
  4. Allow for planned growth: consider upcoming projects alongside your current portfolio.
  5. Compare the full cost: review the billing term, renewal price, extensions, support and GST.

For example, an agency with a modest client portfolio may evaluate Web Pro because of its WordPress requirements. A hosting provider may evaluate Web Host because reseller management is essential.

Frequently Asked Questions

These answers address common questions about Plesk purchases and license selection.

1. Is a Plesk License the Same as a Hosting Plan?

No. The license provides the control panel software. Your server or hosting service is a separate requirement unless your provider explicitly includes both in a package.

2. Does Every Server Need Its Own Plesk License?

Plesk uses a per server licensing model. Budget for a license for each server on which you plan to run Plesk.

3. Can I Change My Plesk Edition Later?

Contact us and we’ll confirm the upgrade process and any price difference for your current license and preferred edition. We’ll also explain any billing changes before you proceed.

4. Is Web Host Necessary for an Agency?

Not always. Compare your required tools, domain allowance and reseller needs. Web Pro may suit an agency whose requirements fit that edition.

5. Does an Annual License Always Mean a Monthly Payment?

No. A monthly equivalent can describe the cost of an annual subscription without offering monthly instalments. Check the amount due at checkout and the billing term in your quotation.

Which Plesk License Should You Choose?

Choose the server license type first, then select the edition that covers your domain allowance and daily work. Web Admin merits consideration for straightforward administration, Web Pro for development and agency requirements, and Web Host for hosting and reseller operations.

Before you commit, compare the complete INR quote, including renewal terms and required extras. Share your server environment, domain inventory and intended use with us so we can help you select the appropriate configuration.
