Women by nature are ‘the empowered lot’, from the ability of child –bearing to enduring the bone-crushing pain of bringing a new life into this world; a woman has the natural preparedness to win over any adversity if she sets her mind to it.
In modern times, women find themselves juggling multiple roles and responsibilities in a day. Not only home managers, the women of today have their own professional lives to embolden their personalities. They commit with as much zeal, time and responsibility as their male counterparts.
Making female employees feel at home is an organization’s primary responsibility. ZNetLive understands this and so as to prevent its women staffers from feeling even an iota of discrimination employs these steps :
“Working with ZNetLive is my first step towards being a successful woman!
I’ve been working with ZNetLive for 6 months and I think it was my life’s smartest choice to join ZNetLive.
I feel lucky that I work for such an organization where work is fun with new learnings every day. It’s so good that you start loving your job even if you didn’t previously :P”
-Apoorva Katyayan, SEO executive
- Grievance redressal cell for women
There’s a well-formed 5 member committee including a female, which looks into any grievance or issue raised by a woman employee with complete privacy, maintaining confidentialities. It’s an autonomous body so any member can easily register their complaint through call, mail or even by directly meeting any of the team members. Depending upon the nature of issue, corrective actions are taken, which may range from notice to termination of the provoker’s job.
This committee also conducts regular trainings and awareness programs on why equality at workplace is important and how should employees follow set procedures and guidelines to prevent even sexism of low intensities.
- Equal opportunity employer
ZNetLive is an equal opportunity employer. It does no discrimination of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin while hiring or promoting someone. In ZNetLive, there are a multitude of teams and nearly 1/3rd teams are headed by females.
“Working in ZNet is like working for your family members at home,” said Barkha Singh, Head- BI team. “You don’t feel that you’re actually doing a job. 🙂 In just one word – it’s “incredible” to be a part of the ZNetLive family and being associated with it is one of the best things that has happened to me. The good span of 2 years that I’ve spent here, has happened to pass by so smoothly, just like greased lightning! I feel so special, cared, loved and a valued asset.” 🙂
- Equal rights and equal compensation.
Demand for equal pay for women has been a burning issue across the globe – from Hollywood land to our homegrown stars like Priyanka Chopra and Kananga Ranaut have been fighting for it.
But we females at ZNetLive are the luckier lot. 🙂
“The salary structures and appraisals are made and handled completely by the HR team – comprising only females..Do I need to say a word more?” quips our HR manager- Kritika Bansal, with a big smile and teeth out 🙂
The HR team also takes care that females feel cared for by organizing events and fun activities, like we have an event today in our office too for the women’s day. Last year, there was teej celebration, karwa chauth celebration and the last year’s women’s day celebration was really great with a very lively debate on what more can be done for women empowerment.
“Teej celebrations at ZNetLive”
ZNetLive lets its female employees be. The management and HR teams are considerate enough to understand the situations females can be in and in order to ease their stressful lives, formulate strategies so that they can achieve better work life balance.
“I only wanted to be a responsible employee, but organization gave me authorities. My thoughts are respected as well as accepted. Freedom to speech and think – basic right of a being a human being is what one demands and I get that in ZNetLive.
I joined ZNetLive with certain apprehensions as to how will I manage both home and office together. But the organization gave me more than what I could have thought. Every time I came with a problem, I got a solution. Very empathetic to female employees.
Just helps me to be “ME”.”
