So finally, our new and improved member panel, is live. Over 8 months of hard work has paid off and we are quite satisfied with the final output 🙂
In the beginning…
After putting in back-breaking efforts for a span of nearly 4 months into the revamping process, the beta version of the member panel was rolled out first 3 months back, and the customers were asked for their feedback. We received quite a lot of encouraging words, some provided suggestions, and believe me, many were highly dissatisfied with this change.
We all know that it’s in the human nature to resist any kind of change. And thus we persevered and decided to look into the dissatisfactions first, suggestions next and encouragements last. As a result of this, we are now able to come forward with the final version of the revamped member panel, hoping and confident, that it will satisfy all.
Central tenet of ZNetLive’s Member Panel
There has been one basic tenet that we’ve adhered to while designing the member panel from ground up – that every piece of information the customer needs, be it about his services, or billing, or support, it is readily available to him through a single pane of glass. The need for him to contact us should be minimal (not that we don’t want him to :)) and the member panel should serve as a self-sufficient centralized platform.
The renewed member panel has a multitude of new features but there is so much that can be covered in a blog post, so I’ll keep it brief.
1. Most important information is prominently visible
As soon as you log in the member panel, the most important information on which action is to be taken by you, like support ticket responses, services due for renewal, announcements, account balance are visible there and then; along with the quick links you need to frequently access – like submitting tickets, placing new order, adding funds, availing offers and promotions, and more.
Also, ALL your information, including your email communications with us, live chat transcripts, SMSs, invoices, receipts, invoices, ledgers are available at a single place in your member panel too, and is downloadable at a click of a button.
2. Improved Support System Flow
ZNetLive believes in gaining customer’s trust by providing him with high quality support, round the clock. In order to make member panel an integral part of our support system, many conscious, highly focused efforts have been put into making ticket submission process extremely simple through this new member panel.
It provides an opportunity to you to resolve your issues all by yourself by following stepwise suggestions according to the nature of problem you are facing, and in the rare case where you are not able to solve the issue yourself, the ticket submission process is such that we collect all the information needed to resolve your problem in one go, and make it available to our support representatives, thereby saving your precious time as well as that of support staff.
3. Better control of your services
The revamped member panel gives you more control of your services. You can check bandwidth statistics of your servers, remotely reboot them, remotely switch off and on the power, change IP addresses, without having to contact our technical support team 🙂
In case of domain names, you can change and edit WHOIS details, edit DNS records, do domain forwarding, email forwarding and much more at a click of a button.
4. Discount Coupons & Offers readily available
Who doesn’t love sale? We too want our customers to quickly know about all our festive and seasonal discounts and promotions and so the main dashboard displays all offers and promos presently active, which are also accessible through ‘Current Offers’ in ‘My Services’ dashboard.
5. Partner Program Panels are now integrated in member panel
The new member panel also serves as an affiliate member panel and partner control panel, for ZNetLive’s affiliates and partners.
By clicking on the Partner Programs > Easy Affiliate Program, an affiliate can easily manage his affiliate account by accessing the affiliate member panel wherein he can check his affiliate commission, total traffic generated, commission reports, his personal and payment related information and a lot more.
Similarly by clicking on the Partner Program> +1 partner Program, a partner can see which discount slab he is in and accordingly avail his services at lesser prices.
There are many other improvements we are in the process of doing, and shall keep you posted as and when they are done.
